We're for hire!
How often does it happen that the Bassethorn parts in Mozart's Requiem and Gran Partita are filled in by regular clarinets instead of basset horns. For a reasonable price, you can hire us to perform these parts on basset horns with orchestra or ensemble. Of course, we can also provide a full program with the trio.

Curriculum Vitae
Arjan Eek
Arjan received his first clarinet lessons at the age of 9 from Zwolle clarinetist Ben van der Moolen. In Zwolle he attended the conservatory and successfully completed teaching and performing musician. He received his soloist diploma in 1987. This was followed in 1988 by follow-up exams in Bassethorn, E-flat and Bass clarinet. In the same year, he concluded his conservatory studies with the Chamber Music/ensemble accompaniment examination. Further master classes he took with Walter Boeijkens, Wenzel Fuchs, Karl Leister, Sabine Meyer and Reiner Wehle. A master class in basset horn he took with Ulf Rodenhäuser in Stuttgart. He was and is a participant in the Conservatory Symphony Orchestra of Zwolle, Clarinet Ensemble Attila, the European Youth Orchestra in France, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hanse Orchestra, etc. Arjan teaches at various music schools in the eastern Netherlands (Emst, Hellendoorn, Heino, Raalte and Wijhe).
Ties Kemper
At the age of 12, Ties started playing the clarinet. He took initial lessons at the Nijmegen School of Music. He then went on to study at the Fontys Conservatory Tilburg with Geert Baeckelandt. He successfully completed his studies in 2014. Ties plays and has played in many ensembles, for example in the Nieuw Nijmeegs Kamerorkest (NNK), as a guest player with the Symfonieorkest Nijmegen, Trio Ligno (flute, clarinet and saxophone), the Philips Symphony Orchestra and wind ensemble Otto e Mezzo. Besides Bassethorn, Ties also plays the E-flat A, and B-flat clarinet.
René Koller
René began his music studies at the music school in Apeldoorn with AMV and recorder. After a few years, he switched to the clarinet. He successfully passed all the music exams at this school. He then took clarinet lessons with Reinier Hogerheyde at the conservatory in Arnhem. He is a member of various ensembles with which he plays a lot of chamber music, alternating with strings, wind instruments, voice, or piano. He has also played in numerous orchestras, currently regularly as a guest player on E-flat clarinet, basset horn, or bass clarinet. As a soloist, he has performed the clarinet concertos of Mozart, Weber, Rossini, and Rolla (on basset horn).
Chroma vocal ensemble
This ensemble consists of singers who all have extensive, shared, experience in both choral music and in the solo and chamber music repertoire.
Artire's invitation to sing Mozart's Notturni together brought them together as an ensemble.
